Our first residents have made themselves at home at Liven Beach Road!

Big news, Hervey Bay… our first residents have officially moved into Liven Beach Road and the place is already buzzing with excitement (and maybe a cocktail or two).

With more than 50 homes under construction, a shiny new display home open and a beautiful community coming to life, Liven Beach Road is growing faster than a queue at Enzo’s on the Beach on a sunny Saturday morning!

Meet Gaye & Gary: Liven Beach Road’s very first arrivals

Travelling all the way from Taree on the NSW mid-north coast, Gaye and Gary made the move to Hervey Bay ready to embrace Fraser Coast’s subtropical climate and laid-back lifestyle.

As our very first residents, they scored the full Liven welcome treatment: balloons, smiles, the whole team turning up… and yes, cocktails made on the spot and not just any cocktails… Yep, we even created our very own one, the Liven Breeze!

Like many future solo groovers and duo movers, the pair realised their four-bedroom family home no longer matched their lifestyle and started searching for “the one”.

“The houses we saw in some communities in NSW simply didn’t compare with Liven – these are genuine homes that really look great,” said Gaye.

From the moment she visited, she knew this was it.

“I first came up in June after finding out about Liven and immediately decided this would be the place for us.”

And things moved quickly…

“We sold our house in Taree in only three weeks… The house was presented beautifully when we arrived with balloons, chocolate and wine all set up. They even made us cocktails when we were given the keys.”

Now that’s a Liven welcome.

New home, new neighbours, new adventures

Gaye and Gary held the title of then “only residents” for a grand total of one day before their new neighbourhood started filling up.

“We’ve met our first neighbour already and they are very nice people,” Gaye said.

And they haven’t wasted a minute exploring their new coastal backyard.

“We are learning our way around the Stockland shopping centre, which is absolutely huge, we went whale watching and got to see a mother and calf right up next to the boat, we’ve had fish and chips on the beach, dinner at Enzo’s on the Beach and have been walking on the Esplanade and the beach most days,” she said.
